PARCHMENT 76, WATERVLIET 63: At Watervliet, Alex Wolf and Austin Patton were a little too much for Watervliet as the duo combined for 39 points. Wolf scored a team-high 20 points and Patton had 19 to go along with 11 rebounds. Parchment clamped down on defense in the second half to pull away from a 36-36 halftime tie. Parchment went 16-for-19 from the free throw line, while Watervliet shot 4-of-10.

Coach T comments: The P-town squad took two quarters to shake loose of their first game jitters. Alex S. finally got P-town headed in the right direction when he went coast to coast finishing off with a 3-point play. The General followed with his first ever PHS dunk. Richie was fouled as the first half buzzer sounded, then calmly swished all three freethrows as both teams watched from their benches. This sent Parchment into the lockerroom with "mo" on their side as evidenced by their strong start in the third quarter. Other highlights included solid inside contributions from Dan H. and Zack R., amazing offensive rebounding by Benjamin, and solid pressure defense by Matt, and Richie. It was a nice win with lots of contributions on both ends of the floor from a variety of players. Alex shot 8-18 with 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 9 assists.

Coach T's TATI(take on areas to improve): Reduce turnovers, reduce unnecessary fouls (overplay the strong hand), improve decisions with the ball, improve on boxing out, improve weakside defense, continue to push the ball up the floor after defensive rebounds (you scored a lot of points on delayed fast breaks).
