Coach T comments: Spank you very much Gull Lake. Ouch! Talk about your old fashioned take'm behind the shed beat down. We couldn't throw the ball in Gull Lake during the first half (I heard something like 3 for 26), but hey, I'm OK with the poor offense. What did bug me was the porous defense. I believe GL had 4 or 5 shots on the very first possession and it pretty much went that way for 3 quarters. Then in the 4th against their 3rd string we finally started playing some D. Well guess what? That ain't gonna cut it. We've got to have D for 32 minutes. We don't have the horses on the O end to be able to coast on the D end. Our D sets up or O. D D D. Are you picking up on my theme here? OK, so what did I see that I liked. Let me start with Nate. Heck of an effort out there Bon on both ends of the floor. I loved it. And the same goes for you MD. Your shot wasn't falling but dang if you didn't mix it up down low with all those GL tall timbers. Perm too. I liked the agressiveness on the O end in the first half. Keep it up!! Fuzz, I also liked your agressiveness on the O end. About time! And I would also like to give AK some props for bringing a lot of energy to the court tonight! I wish the squad could have made your homecoming a little more memorable though. Enjoy your suicides on Wednesday and let's hope the D shows up on Friday and that the D sets up the O!!
