August 29, 2006: Moving day at the dorm!


Before we get to far into the adult life of Alex I thought I would throw together a quick page in honor of the first 18. Click on the picture above if you want to get a chuckle.


After 18 years Alex and Tom finally played against each other in an officiated game. They met in the first week of the summer Borgess Fitness Center league. On the team side Alex's squad won the game 73-68 but at the individual level Tom outscored Alex 11 to 10 and had 8 assists to Alex's 6 assists and had 6 boards to Alex's 4. Nah, just kidding, I don't know how many points, boards, or assists either of us had.

                               the double elimination playoffs.

7/18       Semis      W        Alex's squad marched into the 
                               finals with a stunning come from
                               behind (9 points down with 2
                               minutes to go) victory.  Alex
                               talleyed 16 points in the W. On the
                               opposite end of the spectrum
                               Dad's squad dropped out of the 
                               playoffs after losing in overtime
                               inspite of dad chipping in 17.
8/1        Finals     W        In a very exciting finals game
                               Alex's squad came away with a stunning
                               69-68 victory thanks to a timely 
                               "at the buzzer" 3 pointer.
