Yep, the nerd dad had to put these pics on the page. What can I say? "NERD, NERD, NERD!!!" Poor Alex got stuck with a computer nerd for a pops!

Alex strong to the rack in his first minutes on a D1 court. He ran the point for five minutes without any turnovers reducing the WMU deficit by 4.

Alex cashed in on his first free throw after the foul scoring his first D1 point two minutes into his D1 career.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Parchment High School under head coach Larry Bailey ... named a 2005-06 McDonald’s All-America nominee by ... averaged 26.3 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 steals in the first eight games of his senior year ... finished the year playing 11 games and averaged 21.7 points, 6.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game ... finished his high school career with 1,012 points ... received the B’nai B’rith Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior (Derek Jeter is a former winner) ... averaged 15.7 points, 7.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals while leading Parchment to the regional finals as a junior ... averaged 12.7 points, 4.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals as a sophomore ... played in 21 games as a freshman and averaged 6.2 points, 2.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals ... was named All-Kalamazoo Valley Association twice in basketball, soccer and tennis ... won district championships in basketball, tennis and soccer ... all-state in tennis as a senior after the team advanced to the state finals all three years he participated ... earned two varsity letters in soccer and was team MVP as a senior ... on academic honor roll all four years of high school ... earned high school diplomas from Parchment and the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center.
