Coach T's : The P-town faithful showed up in droves for this first HOME game of the 2005 campaign. Honestly, I've never seen so many fans at a soccer game before. Unfortunately the first half excitement brought on by a 1-1 half time score was quickly replaced with disappointment as Hackett controlled the ball, the tempo, and the scoreboard for most of the second half in route to a solid 4-1 victory over the hometown Panthers. Rough play and yellow cards played a significant factor in determining the outcome of this match between cross town rivals. Of note: E had another solid effort in goal and Perm's 6'5" frame was all over the field. For the second consecutive game Bon accounted for 100% of the offensive output. Also for the second consecutive game the FYBeees (Freshman Youth Brigade) brought huge effort and energy to the field. Bottom line: It was a very exciting soccer game for about 50 minutes and the PHS squad came away with a number of things they can focus on in preparation for next week's trifecta of away games. Good luck fellas!
