Coach T's : I toed you! I toed you! I toed you dat we would getta W if we played with the same energy as in Monday's game. Talk about exciting. Down 1, then up 1, then tied with the clock winding down and the pressure mounting, then boo yeah the A-train powers one home from the right corner, and only THEN did things really start getting exciting! Props to the float builders who came over to cheer on the squad to a SWEEEET 3-2 victory in a game full of memorable plays. Lets not forget the yellow card play, Big E's STOP on the penalty kick, A-train with the header on the corner kick by Nate that T finished, Code man with the poke off the T chip, Bon taking his shirt off then on then off then on. What more could you ask for in a high school soccer game? And you have to give some serious cred to the GA squad. They looked thin during warmups but they really brought their A game once the ball was dropped (or is that a puck that get's dropped?). What can I say. I'm excited to see hockey on ESPN. Let's hope the mo that the soccer team established can carry forward to the football team's Friday night home matchup against Kalamazoo's version of the Green Monster, those Hackett Irish.
