Coach T's Two Cents: WOW!! Talk about heart stopping excitment from start to finish! Our young P-town squad exacted some revenge on their Comet foes by bouncing back from an early season 0-2 loss at KC, to knock the Comets out of the 2005 district tournament with a stunning 1-0 victory before a loud and scantily clothed crowd of loyal Parchment followers. It was a well played AND well coached game from start to finish. The Comets looked large and in charge early but as the temperature dropped the Parchment strikers heated up. A very very slick Corwin to "Pinky" pass resulted in the one and only tally of the evening and that was all P-town needed as they dug in and played stellar D the entire second half turning away each and every offensive surge that the Comets were able to mount. This was a TRUE TEAM EFFORT!!! All season long from top to bottom (top being Perm of course) this squad has showed me that they have more heart per ounce that the Pope has rosery beads. Thanks fellas for an amazing season and for a HUGE V in what to me was the biggest game of the season!! KC, man, we just put a thumpin on KC! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!
